Basically, I'm an guy who constantly writes and does ten thousand things. I write stuff here, and I have a knack for meeting awesome people.

Alexander Popichak - is a Broadcast Production and Media Management Major, Eagle Scout, Editor, Photographer, Blogger, Web Designer, Radio Guy, and above all, a Pittsburgher. He is known for his journalistic work, short blog essays, ridiculously enthusiastic voice, and photography.

Alexander is a broadcast production and media management major with a journalism minor at Point Park University and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the on-campus newspaper, the Point Park Globe. He is also a member of the Point Park honors program.

He is the co-executive producer and creator of U-View's Point Park NewsNight and is creator/host/writer/producer for WPPJ's On the Horizon.

Elsewhere on campus, he has served as a senator for the United Student Government and is co-host for WPPJ’s Globe Live program.

He works part-time during the school year at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as a high school sports stringer.

For the summer of 2016, he was a content creator and aggregate for the up-and-coming aggregate news/trending views website run by Trib Total Media's 535media, UpGruv.

Alexander maintains an award-nominated and award-winning blog The 2015 Blogger where he posts occasionally on a wide variety of topics. He has been named on multiple listings of web designers and up-and-coming bloggers.

Throughout high school, Alexander was involved with technical production as a founding member of Carlynton Tech and technical producer/anchor of the morning announcements. He was the marching band announcer, and a founding member of WYEP 91.3FM's youth media project Reimagine Media.

His photographic and journalistic work has been published in Point Park’s Globe, 535Media (a division of Trib Total Media)'s startup upgruv, Trib Total Media’s Signal Item, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and IN Community Magazines.

He currently lives on Point Park’s campus in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh.
