Alexander Popichak - is a television producer based in Erie, PA.
Alexander is currently employed as a producer with Erie News Now - the news team serving the greater Erie, PA region and northwest Pennsylvania, southwest New York and northeast Ohio.
Alexander graduated in 2018 with a degree in broadcast production and media management from Point Park University. While at Point Park, he served as Editor-in-Chief for the on-campus newspaper, the Point Park Globe and as General Manager of the campus radio station WPPJ.
He began his career producing television by developing and producing U-View's Point Park NewsNight.
Throughout high school, Alexander was involved with technical production as a founding member of Carlynton Tech and technical director and eventual anchor of the morning announcements. He was the marching band announcer, and a founding member of WYEP 91.3FM's youth media project Reimagine Media.
His photographic and journalistic work has been published in the Point Park Globe, U-View, WPPJ, WESA, The City Paper, upgruv, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Trib Total Media’s Signal Item and IN Community Magazines.
He currently lives in Erie, PA.
